What weapon do you think the cleric should be able to have the greatest skill? What weapon should have the least skill?

I'd like to see the option left to the player.
To explain, when you create your character part of your creation process could be to decide a few of your background traits/skills. So after you pick your class you could then get a choice of what weapon you learned up until now. That would be the weapon you use in-game and have the greatest affinity with.
We generally get scripted into cookie-cutter roles and gearsets for no other reason than following a beaten path in game design. It would be a nice breath of fresh air to see a character creation process that broke away from that in the MMORPG genre.

I think it would be cool to see a cleric with some kind of holy/spirit mace. Generally most games force clerics to use just staffs or maybe wands, leaving the whole "metal" resource our of their grasp.

IMO, It would be great to have options. A (long) list of weapons to choose from when creating your character. Each class would get a (certain number) of weapons as the maximum they can know how to use. (My cleric uses a Glaive b/c he was in the military and trained with it)
